These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all reservations made through **La Paz Stays** (“we,” “us,” “our”), including all properties listed on [www.lapazstays.com](http://www.lapazstays.com). By booking with us, you (“Guest,” “you,” “your”) agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before completing a reservation.

## **1. Booking & Payment**
1.1 A reservation is confirmed only once payment has been processed and you receive a written confirmation by email.
1.2 Prices shown on the website include nightly rate, taxes, and applicable fees unless otherwise stated.
1.3 Full payment may be required at the time of booking depending on the property, length of stay, and season.
1.4 By booking through the La Paz Stays website, you authorize us to charge your card for all amounts associated with your reservation.

## **2. Guest Information & Occupancy**
2.1 Only the guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property.
2.2 Additional visitors, parties, or gatherings are **strictly prohibited** unless explicitly approved in writing.
2.3 Maximum occupancy limits are enforced and vary by property. Exceeding occupancy may result in immediate cancellation without refund.

## **3. Check-In & Check-Out**
3.1 Standard check-in time is **3:00 PM** and check-out is **11:00 AM**, unless otherwise specified.
3.2 Early check-in or late check-out requests must be approved in advance and may incur an additional fee.
3.3 Unauthorized late check-out may result in fees or forfeiture of damage deposit due to delays in cleaning and preparing the property.

## **4. House Rules**
4.1 All guests must comply with posted house rules for their rental property.
4.2 **No smoking** inside the property. A fine of **4,000 MXN** will be charged if smoke or smoke odor is detected.
4.3 **No parties or events**.
4.4 Guests must respect neighbors and noise restrictions at all times.
4.5 Guests must comply with all **community rules**, including fines imposed by the community for violations.
4.6 **Pets** are allowed only where specified, and must follow pet rules:
* Pets may not roam the property or use planters/BBQs as washroom areas.
* Pets are not allowed on furniture.
* Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets.

## **5. Use of Property & Damages**
5.1 The guest is responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, appliances, linens, or equipment caused during the stay.
5.2 Excessive cleaning beyond standard turnover may result in additional charges.
5.3 Any issues, damages, or maintenance problems must be reported immediately upon discovery.
5.4 Moving furniture, altering décor, or tampering with electrical, pool, or AC systems is prohibited.

## **6. Pool, Courtyard & Shared Spaces**
6.1 Some properties include shared spaces such as the pool, courtyard, or laundry areas.
6.2 Guests must follow posted guidelines and use shared spaces respectfully.
6.3 Children must be supervised at all times near the pool and water features.
6.4 La Paz Stays is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of shared areas.

## **7. Safety & Liability**
7.1 Guests agree to use the property in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
7.2 La Paz Stays is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of personal items during your stay.
7.3 You acknowledge that use of pools, outdoor areas, stairs, and natural terrain carries inherent risks.

## **8. Cleaning, Maintenance & Utilities**
8.1 Standard cleaning fees are included in the booking unless otherwise stated.
8.2 Mid-stay cleanings can be arranged for an additional fee.
8.3 Guests agree not to excessively use utilities such as **air conditioning**; AC must be turned off when leaving the property.
8.4 Overuse of the AC may result in additional charges and contributes to potential rolling blackouts in La Paz.

## **9. Cancellations & Refunds**
9.1 Cancellation policies vary by property and are displayed at the time of booking.
9.2 Non-refundable bookings cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
9.3 Early departures do not qualify for refunds.
9.4 Failure to follow Terms & Conditions may result in removal from the property without refund.

## **10. Additional Services (Car Rentals, Tours, etc.)**
10.1 Any add-on services such as car rentals, tours, or experiences may have separate terms and pricing.
10.2 Guests booking car rentals must comply with insurance requirements, driving rules, and return conditions.
10.3 Damage to rental vehicles or equipment will be charged according to the vehicle agreement.

## **11. Website Use & Accuracy**
11.1 La Paz Stays makes every effort to ensure photos, descriptions, and pricing are accurate.
11.2 Differences in décor, amenities, or layout may occur due to ongoing upgrades or maintenance.
11.3 We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and will notify the guest immediately if an issue occurs.

## **12. Security Deposits**
12.1 Certain properties may require a refundable security deposit.
